Councillor Les Goldspink - Personal Profile
Les has lived on the Galleys Bank Estate all his life and attended Maryhill High School. He was a coal miner for 20 years and is currently employed as a Post Man at the Kidsgrove Office.
He has recently been actively involved in campaigning about the problems of the Schindler houses on the Galleys Bank Estate. He is chairman of Kidsgrove Fishing Club, has been married for 38 years, has four married sons and nine grandchildren. His main aim as a councillor is to help to raise the profile of Kidsgrove.
